We had the most enjoyable stay at a comfortable, charming, and quiet property. The proprietor couldn't do enough to assist us and was very friendly and informative. The property had a charm and homeliness that was very attractive, and it was located in a classic rural village. The breakfasts were great, with delicious homemade produce. We loved the peacefulness and the attention to detail. The property was beautifully restored and had stunning architecture. We also enjoyed the complementary use of bicycles. we highly recommend this hotel for a superb and relaxing getaway.

We had a delightful stay at a beautifully renovated property in a quiet village just 5 minutes away. the bedroom and bathroom were lovely, and the breakfast was the best we have had on our trip to Europe. There were nice sitting areas to relax in, and our host was very informative about the area and its history. We felt warmly welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay. Had a fantastic Easter break in the countryside! Loved the fact that the hotel was modern inside but had beautiful historic exterior. The rooms were spacious, and the homemade breakfast was delicious! We were able to explore the local area on foot and it was blissfully quiet. The stunning view of the gorge was only a short walk away. Plus, there were bikes available for guests!

The hotel was a bit remote, so a car was definitely necessary. There weren't as many dinner options around as we would have liked, but that's probably due to the rural location.
